Holiday Giving

What is the most memorable gift you’ve ever received?  And what made  it special?  For me those were the gifts that weren’t expensive, didn’t come from a store but came from the heart of the giver.

During this holiday season consider these gifts that will make a lasting impression.

How about the gift of a note of appreciation, encouragement or just to say hi to someone in your family, neighborhood, church, work, nursing home or hospital?

How about the gift of your time?  Volunteer for a charity or do chores, run errands, offer you time to someone who needs it?  Write it out and wrap it up.

How about homemade gifts, edibles, knitted, crocheted, painted, woodworking?  You get the idea.

These are some of the ways to get around the predicted holiday gift supply shortages, because there is no shortage of gifts of kindness, wrapped in love that lasts all year round.
